Ciao, bella! I’m the description of the play Fool, and my only mission in life is to inspire you to come see the play Fool. That’s my dao. My obsession. My sneaky, keyboard-planted meta-purpose.
I have a dream: packed halls at Left Bank Theatre for the play Fool. Oh no… I have a dream: on the day of the premiere, the Left Bank is surrounded by endless queues, while Kyiv’s Right Bank turns into a deserted wasteland where Will Smith and his dog wander, desperately hunting for scalpers. Oh no… I have a dream: so many reels are filmed at Fool that TikTok’s servers collapse, the internet disappears, and people, craving pleasure, flock to the Pochaina market to buy pirated CDs with fragments of the play Fool. Hipsters on Reitarska Street secretly beam them to each other via infrared ports, and even Stepan Hiha starts singing: “Fool, Fool haunts my dreams at night…”
So, what exactly is Fool? Forget about “classic theatre” — I won’t even try to compare it to something you know. Just picture this: a neo-noir tragicomedy with a detective twist, comic-book aesthetics, Italian flair and a touch of intellectual-philosophical spice. Ooh-la-la, intriguing, isn’t it? If I were human and not just a text, I’d definitely go see it.
And now my description ends, and with it, so does my existence. It’s been an honor to spend these last seconds with you… Come see the play Fool … Come see the play Fool… I am over…
